RESOLUTION N0. 1520
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BID
FOR THE PURCHASE OF CITY OWNED TAX DEEDED
REAL PROPERTY. '
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
That the City of Lynwood, Callfornia desires to sell
the City-owned tax deeded property.hereinafter described for the.
purpose of getting said property back on the tax rolls and liqui-
dating so far as possible the existing taxes and assessment en-
cumbrances of record now on said land:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the written bid of
Eugene E. Gowers and Ruth E. Gowers
nova on file with the C�ty Clerk of the City of Lynwood, wherein
the bidder offers to purchase the tax deeded property hereinafter
descrlbed'upon the partial payment plan and which bid was in all
respects made in accordance ��!ith the provisions of Resolution No.
1487 of the City of Lynwood, and tivhich bid was publicly opened by
the City Clerk at a''' _ regular meeting of the City Council,
upon the _sth day of April 194 3, is the highest and
best bid for the sale of said lands. That said lands described
in said bid are as follows, to tivit:
Lota 66 and 67, BZock 4, rrtod�eska Park, as per map re-
corded in Book 9, pages 142 a.nd 143 of Mapa, Records
oP Los Angeles County, Galifornia
BE IT FURTHEA RESOLVED, that the purchase prlce offered
£or said lands is in the sum of �300.00 ,� payable �50.00 aocom-
panying bid, and �20.83, or more, on the lOth day of each month be-,
ginning on the 15th day of I+4ay, 1943 and continuing until full paid,
plus int�rest at 7�.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that it ls for the best interest
. of tfie people of the City of Lynwood, California, to sell said
lands to said bidder for said purchase price tn accordanoe wlth
. the terms of said bid;
NOW THEREFORE, it is further resolved, that the said
bid for said lands is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk
�. of the Clty of Lynv��ood, California are hereby expresely authorized
to execute in duplicate, on behalf of the said City•of Lynwood,
California, a written contract for the sale of said lands to said
- purchaser in accordance with and by virtue of_the authority in-
vested in them so to do in Resolution No, 1487.
