Be it resoTved by the Gity Council of the City of Lyn-

wood, as follovrs:
VdHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Coun-
cil of the City of Lynwood, by evidence offered in that behalf,
that on cer.tain lots of land in said City there exists dry and
drying weeds which dry and drying grass on such lots causes
great damages to houses and atructures in said Lynwood from
fire and constitutes a public nuieance, and that such public �
nuisance should at once be abated under the provieions of an
act of Legislature of the State of Californie, approved May 26,
1915, Statutes 1915, Page 841, as said act is amended, which �
said act is entitled: "An Act authorizing N!unicipalities to .
declare noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon the atreets
or sidewalks or upon private property within Municipalities,
to be a public nuieance, crea.ting a lien upon the property
fronting upon which such nuisance exista for the cost of aba.t-
ing the same,'� which act vaas approved May 26, 1915.

' City Council of the City of Lynwood, that the existence of dry
and drying,�veeds on each oP said lots to be a public nuisance,
and it is hereby ordered that such nuisances be abated under
the terms of that certain Act of the Legislature of the State .
of California, above mentioned, as amended, and the Street
Superintendent of the Gity, of Lynwood is directed to cause no-
�_ � tices to be given a.nd posted which are neceesary to be given
and posted as required by said Act, and this Council hereby
. fixea the 4th day of I�sy, 1943, at 8:00:o'clock P.AQ. at the
Council Chamber of the City Council of said City, located at
11331•Plaza Street, in said City of Lynwood, a.s the time and
place of hearing all protests to the abatement of said nuisances
