A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYN-
WOOD, CALIFORNIA, PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS, AT.dD DIRECT-
ING THE STREET SUPERII�TTEI7DENT TO ABATE TEFs' WEED PdUIS-
ANCE THAT ERISTS ON VACANT LOTS IN THE CITY OF LYNNl00D.

Be i't resolved bp the Cit,y Council of the City of Lyn-
' wood., as follows:
` WHEI�EAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, Calif-
ornia, did on the-2Qth day of April, 1943, adopt Hesolution No.
1536 relating to.the abatement of dr? and drying weeds on cer-
tain Lots in the City of Lynvaood, and
WHEREAS, due�Notice was given to destroy such weeds
� by postin� "Notice to Destro� Weeds" notices at not more than
100 feet in distance apart as required by law, and '
. WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed the hearing
of protests and objections to said matter, a hearing was'duly
held and no written or oral ob,jections were made, either in
•� writing or orally, to the doing of said work, and '
WNEREAS, tho C3ty Council of the City of Lynwood has
considered all of the facta and'is fully informed in the mat-.
ters; that they have acquirad jurisdictiont.o proceed and per-
, form the work of removal of said nuisances,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Street Su.p- �
' perintendent of the City of Lynvrood be and he is hereby instruc-
ted to abate the nuisances describod in said Resolution No.
1536 by having the weeds referred to remove, and he and h3s '
Assistants are hereby expressly authorized to enter upon pri-
vate property for that purpose,.

SE I`P FURTHER RESOLVED that any property owners shall
� E . �
have the right to have any such weed nuisance removed and a-
bated at his own expense, providod such work is done prior to
the time the work is done by the Street Superindent. If the
work is done by the property owner, no charge shall be made by
the City of Lynwood.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1943.
