, 'A RESOLUTION OF THE CIiY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYN'�i00D.DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER 5TREET
LIGHTING SERVICE ON CERTAIN STREETS IN 'PHE CITY
OF LYN�'GOD FOR A P�RIOD BEGINNING JULY 1; 1943,
�AND ENDING JUNE 30, 19�4.
Be it resolved by the City Council oP the City of
Lynwood ae followa:-
SECTION l. That the public interest and convenienee
require and 1t is the intention of the City Council of the City
" of Lynwood to order the furniahing of, for a period cornmencing
July 1, 1943, and endin� June 30, 1944, the service necessary to
maintain and 112um3nate by means of electrical energy the eus-
�pended electric stree't lamps of 250 and 600 candle power and 250
candle power lamps on ornamental�standards incertain etreets in
the City of Lynwood within the dietrict described in Sectioh 2
,� hereof and to be known as Lighting ItAaintenance Dlstrict No. 14
of the City oP Lynwood, in accordance with plans and specifications
� therefor, to be prepared, furnished and filed �aith the City Clerk �
' of the City of Lynwood as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2. That the exterior ooundaries of the dis-
trfct to be benefited by ea.id improvement and to be assessed to
pay the costs and expensea thereof and to be known as the asaeae-
ment district, are deacribed as followa:

� 3EC"1'ION 3. That the said proposed improvement if hereby
. referred to the Street Superintendent and said 5treet Superintendent
is hereby directed to make and fi.le with the Gity Clerk of said City,
a report in writing presenting the following:
(aj Plans and specifications for the proposed .
' improv,ement.
(b) An estimate the cost oP said improvement for
the period of time'specified in the Resolution oY Intention.
(c) A diagra.m showing the assessment district above
referred to and also the boundaries and dimensions of the re=
spective sub-divisions of land within said. district, ea.ch of
said sub-divisions being given a separate number on said diagram.
(d) A proposed assessment of the total amount of cosbs
and expenses of the proposed improvement upon the, several sub-
divisions of land in sa.id dietrict in proposition to the estimated
benefits to be received by said subdivisions. Said assesaments
shall refer to such subdivisions upon said diagram by the re-
spective number thereon and it shall show the names of the owners,
if known, otherwise designating them as unknomn.
SEC'I'ION 4, That the said contempla.ted improvement shall
be"had anc7 taken und�r an Act of the Legislature of the State of
, California deaignated �'An Act to provide for the maintenance by �
municioalities of llghting systems along public streeta, alleys
and other public pla.ces and for,the lighting thereof by electriC�
current, gas or other illuminating agent; and for the assessment
of the eosts and espenses thereof upon the broperty benefited and
the manner of collectin� such asaessmenta" commonly known'as the
. °Street Lighting Act of 1919° and amendments thereto, approved
