Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood, as follo�s:
��HEREP.S, heretofore the City Council of the Gity of
Lynvrood, by proper proceedings had and taken, ca_lled for bide
Por the furnishing o? the service necessary to maintain and
illumina.te by means of electric energy certain lights in said
City of Lynwood, and
[�'HEREAS, due and legal advertisement has been given

in the premises calling for such bids, and
��dHEREAS, July 20, 1943 was the date on avhich such
bids ufere to �e received, opened and �ublicly declared, and
WHEREAS, one bid only has been filed in the premises
for doing such wor�, to-wit: The bi@ of the Southern CaliPor-
nia Edison Compa.ny, Ltd., vehieh was the only bid filed, and
V:HEREAS, on July 20, 1943 the said Gity Council �
duly opened the bids in said matter, to-wit: The said bid of
said Conpany, and publicly declared the same, and
1�HEREAB, the said City Council deems said bid of
said Cor�pany to be a reasonable bid and should be accepted.
PdOV7, THEREFORr, the sald bid. of said Southern Calif-
ornia Edison Conpany, Ltd., is hereby accepted and the contract
Por sald �rorx s.s called for in sa.id proceedings, is hereby a-
vrarded to saSd Southern Ca.lifornia Edison Co., Ltd., at the
re.tes and in the manner specified in its said bid.
The P!Ia.yor and the City Clerk of said City are hereby
ordered and directed to execute such contract in and �or the
City of Lynwood. ' ,
