?'IIiEREAS, the City C.ouncil has heard read said pro-

203 of the Streete and Highways Code, the 1�4 cent gas tax
allocated for State I�i�kiwa�s t�e accumulated for ex-
penditure, and that said project stateenent be and the same
is hereby approyed, and the n4ayor and the City Clerk are di-
rected to sign the same-on behalf of the said Citg, sai3 pro-
ject statement,to be binding upon tlze City upon its execution
