AND TriAT SAID PROJECT IS FEASIBLE,
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn9
wood, California, as follovas:
�°rHEREAS, the City Couneil of the City of Lynwood did,
on the 20th day of August, 1940, direct the preparation of an
Investigation Report under the provisions oi Section 3 of the
°Special Assessment Investi�ation, Limitation and Ma,jority
Protest Act of 1931," upon the proposed improvement of Louise
Street, First Av.enue, Linden Stree.t, Elm Street, Fernwood }
Avenue, Pine"5treet; Locust Strest, Sanborn Avenue, Shirley �
Avenue and certain alleys, including all intersections of
streets and alleys,'by the conatruction of public sewers; and
W7HEREAS, said Report having been duly prepared and filed,
a hearing vras'neld thereon by said City Council on �atember
24, 1940, in the ma.nner provided in sa.id Act above refer'red
to;. and
I"iHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood ha.s
heretofore, and on the 24th day of September, 1940, adopted
its Resolution o_° Report of said hearing, u�hich eaid resolu-
tion o£ report;iNas, on the 24th da,y of September,,1940, iiled
vaith the Cler'_� of said City Council, all in the time, form and
' ma.nner required under the.provisions of Section 8 of said Act
above referred to; arid_
WfiEREAS, less tha.n thirty days 'nave eypired since the
last
da.te of the filing oi/said Report;

NOPI, THEREFORE, the CityCouncil.o� the Cit�� of Lynwood '
does her.eby resolve'as follows:
' (1) That the protests made at'said hear'ing on eaid
vestigation Report be, and the sa.me are hereby overruled.
(2) That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the doing and making of the public improvement set ,
forth and described in said Report above referred to and aub-
stantially in the_manner therein set forth.
{3) That the pro3ect consisting:of,the proposed improve-
ment above referred to 1s feasible. .
{4) That the estimated total amount proposed to Ue
asaessed upon any or all lots or parcels of land. for the'
costs and expenses of said proposed improvement.does not ex-
ceed tne limita.tien of indebtedness established and set forth
in eaid Act above referred to and will not, by the levy thereof,
cause sa.id limitation to be exceeded in any instance.
(5) T'r,at no ma�ority protest in vmiting has been filed
by the owners oi property proposed to be assessed to pay the
costs and expenses of said proposed improvement. or any part
, thereof, in the manner provided in Section 13a of.eaid Act
above referred to:
(6) That it ia hereby ordered that the proceedinge for
the making of said proposed i�prove�ent be undertaken pur-
sua.nt to the provisions of an Act oi the Legislature of the
State o_° Caliiornia @esignated as the "Improvement Act of
1911,° approved April 7th, 1911 and amen�ments thereto.
