RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD Or SUPER_
VISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO COAiFER
WITH CITIES INTERESTED BEFORE ADOPTING
RULES AND REGULATIOVS PERTAIIQING TO AND
RESTRICTIOI4S ON TAX SALES liNDER 5EGTION
3897d OF THE POLIlICAL CODE.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn�Rood
as follows:
City
Section i. That this/has several hundred pa.rcels of tax
deeded lands within its corporate limits and it is noiv engag-
ing in a program to restore said lands to the tax ro11 by pur-
chasing the same from the County with the consent of the State
Controller under the provisions of Sections 3897d and 3897.3 of
the Politica.l Code.
Section 2. That the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles
County ha.s, from time to time, adopted rules a.nd regulations
and restrictions upon the sale of tax deeded la.nds to the re-
spective cities in the County, and that said rules and regu-
7_ations have been made and said restrictions imposed without
notice to or knowledge of the proper officials of the respec-
tive cities in which said lands lie prior to the adoption of
the same.
Section 3. That this City Council is of..the oninion that
the best lnterests of all parties concerned luould be served by
the County officials cooperating the Eit,y officials in
draftin� rules and regulations pertaining to and restrictione
upon tar, sa.les under said sections of the Political Code.
Section 4. That this Cit,y Council doee hereby petition
and request the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to
give notice of its intention to adopt a.ny x�ules or regulations
^ pertalnin� to or restrictions upon the sa.1e of any tax deeded

lands in the City of Lyn�!ood before the's�me are adooted in
order that this City might be �epre�ented and might be given '
the opnortunity to nresent any,objections to any such broposals.
� Section 5. That tY�e City Clerk be.and�he is hereby direct-
ed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Clerk
of tihe said Hoard of Supervisors and a certified copy of the
same to each member of said Board.
