RESOLUTION SELLING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A DEED
UPON PAYLRENT OF THE CONSIDERATION NAMED
THEREIN.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, as followa:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here-
tofore, on October 29, 1940, accepted the offer oP Marren P.
Scott for the puchase by him and sale by the City oY certain
properties in the Gity of aequired by said City by pur-
chase from the County of Loa Angeles. That the propertiea here-
inafter described are a portion of,the properties covered by said
agreement of purchase and sale; and
WHEREAS, said Warren P. Scott has requeated the conveyance
to him of the properties hereinafter described under the terma
of said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
Section 1. That the eaid City of Lynwood shall convey to

the eaid Warren P. Scott said lands hereinafter described, aub-
,ject to conditions, reatrictiona, resernations and easemente of
record and sub�ect to assessments and reassesaiaente and bonded
liene of record. That the said City shall convey to said pur-
chaser noother or greater title to said lands than has..been ac-
quired by said City.
Section 2. That�pon payment to said City of the sum of
ro0ne Hundred Eight and 1',5/100 Dollars (�108.15) the Mayor of
eaid City is hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
of conveyance of said landa, conveying the same as above speci-
fled to the eaid Warren P. 8cott, on behalf of the said City oP

Lynwood, and that the City Clerk of said City is hereby author-
ized to attest eaid deed and to affix the City seal of the in-
corporat�d City of Lynwood thereto, on behalf of the said City
of Lynwood.
Section 3. That said Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
the
ized to aign on behalf of/said City of Lynwood any escrow agree-
ment necessary to connlete transfer of said lands,
Section 4. That the said City Clerk is authorized to de-
liver said deed to the said VParren P. Scott, or into escro�v for
the said Piarren P. Scott, on behalf of theseid City of Lynv�ood.
as soon as, or upon condition that the said consideration ahall
have been paid to said City.
Section 5. The lands covered by this reaolution snd author-
Szed to be conveyed as hereinabove provided are described as
follows, to wlt: � '
Lots�28 and 30, Block 15, Belle Vernon Acres, in the
City of Lyneuood, County of Los Angelea, State of Cal-
ifornia,.as per map recorded in Book 9, Page 196 oP
Maps, Records oP said County.
