. RESOLUTION DETERI�INING THAT THE PITBLIC
INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY RE-
QUIRE THE GANCELLATION OF CERTAIId 1915
ACT ASSESSr��tENTS AND�ORDERIIdG THE CANCEL-

The City Council oP the Clty oP Lynwood does hereby re-
solve, determiiie and order as follows:
Section 1. That certain lands, particularly described
on those certain schedules attached hereto and made a part
hereof, marked E�ibits °A"and °E", lying within the City of
Lynwood, are burdened tivith taxes and special assessments to
such an extent that the record ownera thereof have not su�fi-
cient equity therein to make possible a redemption thereof.
Section 2. That there are certain unpaid assessments
levied for v&rious 1915 Act Bond Districts on said property
as ahown on said Ehhibita "A° and "B". That this City Coun-
cil finda that the said property described on said Exhibits
"A" and "E" are of a market value less than the total outstand-
ing liens, tayes, bonds and assessments. Thatthis City Coun-
cil furtiher finds t'r�at in order to restore said pro;�erties to
the tax roll it ie necessary that said 1915 Act assessments
be reduced to a point v�hich �vill �uetiYy the o�,�ners of said
property in redeeming the same.
Section 3. That this.City Council finda that the public
inter@st, convenience and necessity require the cancellation
of the uncollectible portions of all said 1915 Act delinquent
assessments in order that the land may be immediately returned
to the tax rolls and the ta-x burden tY�e'r_eby lightened in pro-
portion. That it is determined that the uncollectible portions
of said as�esaments are as shown on eaid Exhibits "A" and °B".

Section 4. That by reason of the foregoin� emergency in
the interest of sound public policy, and in order to restore
said properties to the tax roll this City Council does hereby
order the cancellation of said delinquent,1915.Act assessments
on each lot on said Exhibits "A" and "S" as shown thereon.
Section 5. That it is hereby declared that the proper— .
tlea described on said E�ibit "A" have been acauired by the
City by purchase of tax deeds froin the County of Los Angeles,
witY� the approval of the State Controller, and that said acqui—
sition was in lieu of acquisition under foreclosure proceedings
provided by the Improvement Bond Act oP 1915.
