SUBJECT: First Amendment to Professional Services Agreement
Dear Ms. Elwood:
With regard to the professional services agreement between the City of Temple City and
Elwood and Associates (Consultant) dated October 17, 2012, this letter serves to amend
the following language.
Section 2: Scope of Services
Consultant agrees to perform the services set forth in Exhibit "A", provided in its entirety
to read as follows:
Consultant will perform the following services as it pertains to mosaic murals
commissioned by artist Carole Ouejian:
1. Oversee artwork fabrication and report progress on a periodic basis.
2. Coordinate artwork installation.
3. Develop a final maintenance document that schedules ongoing maintenance for
said murals.
4. Provide walk through of artworks installed on Rosemead Blvd. to review
maintenance protocols with staff as needed.
Consultant will also provide City with support on public art related issues on an as -
needed basis during term of this First Amendment, which expires February 1, 2015.
Section 4: Compensation and Method of Payment
(a) Subject to any limitations set forth in this Agreement Amendment, City agrees to
pay Consultant the amounts specified in Exhibit "B" "Compensation" and made a
part of this Agreement. The total compensation, including reimbursement for
actual expenses, shall not exceed ferty thOUSand two thousand five hundred
dollars ($40,000 $2,500), unless additional compensation is approved in writing
by the City Council or City Manager.

copies for execution to Marilyn Bonus, Deputy City Clerk, at the address above.
