RES,OLUTIOTI RELATING TO THE ABATII'l�ENT OF DRY AND DRY-

Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood, as folloc+s:
i"1HEREAS, it has come to the attention of the city
� Council of the City of Lynwood, by evidence offered in that
behalf, that on certain Lots of land in said City there exiats
dry and drying weeds which dry and drying grass on such Lots
causes great damages to houses and structures in said Lynwood
from fire and constitutes a public nuisan �, and that such
public nuisance should at once be abated under the provisions
of an act of Legielature of the State of California, approved
t�7ay 26, 1915, 5ta�u�es 1915, Page 841, sslsaid act ie amended,
which said act is entitled: "An Act authoriying Municipalities
to declare noxioua or dangeroua weeds growing upon the streets
or aidewalks or upon private property within Municipalities,
to be a public nuisance, creating a lien upon the property '
fronting upon which such nuisance exieta Por the cost oY abat-
ing the same, which act was approved May 26th, 1915.

the City Council of the City of Lynwood, that the exiatence
of dry and drying weeda on each of esid Lots to be a publio
nuisance, and it is hereby ordered that such nuisancee be a- �
bated under the terms of tha.t certain Act of the Legistlature
of the State of California above mentioned, as amended, and
the Street Superintendent of the City oP Lynwood is directed
to cause notioes to be given an�posted which are neceseary
to be given and posted as required by eai d Act, and this
