Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
I�yrn*rood, as follows: �
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
�
California, on the lat day of April, 1941, adopted Resolu-
Lion No. 1293 relating to the abatement of dry and dr;�ing
weeda oncertain Lots in the City of Lynwood, and
WhEREAS, due iVotice rvas given to destroy such weeds
by poating "Notice to Destroy Weeds" at not nore than 100
feet in distance'apart as required b� law, and
WfiEREAS; at the time and plaoe fixed for the hear-
ing of protests and ob,jections to said matter, a hearing
, was duly.held.and no written or.oral ob,jections were.made
� to the doing of said work, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City oi Lynwood
has considered all of the facts and is fully informed in
the matters; that they have acquired jurisdiction to pro-
ceed and perfor� the work of removal of said nuisance,
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Street
Superintendent of the �ity oi Lynwood be and he is hereby
instructed tc abate the nuisances described in said Resolu-
tion D1o. 1293 by having the weeds referred to removed, and
he and his aesistants are hereby expreasly authorized to
enter upon private property for that purpose.

�- BE IT FURTHE� RESOLVED that any property owner

shall have the right to have any.such.weed'nuisance re—
- � moved and abated at his owri expense, provided same is done
prior to the arrival of the Street Superintendent or his
; Assistant's equipment, ir. whieh case ty�ere shall be no .
charge made by the City of Lym;�ood.
