� Be it resolved b� tne City Council of the City of Lyn�vood
as follows: �
�h'?-IEREAS, the City Council did, on June 4, 1940, adopt its
Resolution No. 1243 �now known as Application No. 42 by the County
of Los Angeles), offering to purchase certain tax deeded property
from the County of Los Angeles �Rith the approval of the State Con-
� trcller, and
WHEREAS, said resolution; by reference, incorporates a
proposed agreement between the City of Lynwood and the Oounty oP
Los Angeles provid.ing for the sale by the County and purchase by
tne City of the tax deeded parcels described therein; ara3
' ' WHERF.A5, the Bozrd of Supervieors of the County of Los
'Angeles have by resolution required that before a sale of tax
deeded lands may be had to a Pdunicipality, assurance must be gi-
,ven that upon resale by the Municipality a�TOtice there,oP will.be
given by,publication once a week for three weeks in a newspaper
published and circulated ir said ?�Iunicipality.
AIOPt, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lyrxsoa3
does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
Section 1: That upon the resale of the properties descri-
bed in Resolution,No. 1243, heretofore adopted by this City Coun-
cil, or any of said parcels, a notice"of the interition of thi.s '
�ity Council to resell said parcels will be pu�3ished once a vreek
for thr.ee weeks prior to said sale in a newspaper published_and
circulated��iri,the City oP Lynwood.
