A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JULY 19, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT FOR ALL -TERRAIN VEHICLES AND OFF -
ROAD UTILITY VEHICLES
Whereas, the City recognizes the State of Iowa has recently passed HF 2130 which
makes all -terrain and off -road utility vehicles street legal in Iowa; and,
Whereas, the City should now amend its current all -terrain vehicle ordinance as a result
of HF 2130,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
date of July 19, 2022, for public hearing for an ordinance amendment for all -terrain
vehicles and off -road utility vehicles.
On the 5th day of July, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-062, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE OF JULY 19, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT FOR ALL -TERRAIN VEHICLES AND OFF -ROAD
UTILITY VEHICLES and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Limkemann.
Ayes: Havens, Olney, Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-062, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
OF JULY 19, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
FOR ALL -TERRAIN VEHICLES AND OFF -ROAD UTILITY VEHICLES to be adopted
and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
