RESOLUTIOIV SELLING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
UPON PA�CD;IENT, OF THE CONSIDERATION NPI�4ED

Be it resolvQd by the City Council of the City of Lqnwood,
California, ae followst
WHF'•REAS, the City Council of the Citq of Lynwood has here-
tofore, on the 29th day of October, 1940, accepted the offer oY
Warren P. Scott for the purchaee of all of the right, title and
interest oP the City of Lynwood in and to certain lande lying
within seid City; and
NHEREAS, the propertiea hereinafter described were includ-
ed in said purchase and sale agreement; and
WHEREAS, eaid Warren P. Scott hsa�by assignment duly exe-
cuted and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood eold
and assigned to BHorco Insurance Agency, Inc., a corpora.tion, all
righte arising from said agreement pertaining to the propertiea
hereinafter described; and
VVHEREAB, eaid Morco Insurance Ageney, Inc., a corporation,
has exerciaed the option contained in said a�reement and has re-
quested a conveyance to it of the propertiea hereinafter deacrib-
ed under the terma of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby reeolve; determine and order as Pollowe:
� 8ection 1. That the City of Lynwood aY�all convey to the
saifl �Horco Insurance Agenoy, Inc., a corporation, said propertlea
hereinaYter described, aub�ect to conditiona, restrictions, fle-
servationa and easements of record and eub�ect to aesessmente and
reassessmenta and bonded liene of record. That the City shall
convey to said purchaser no other or greater title�`. to said landa

than hae been acqulred by eaid City.
Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynwood of the
aum• of One Hundred Fourteen end 33/100 Dollars (�114.33), the
Mayor of the City of Lynwood is hereby authorized and direated
to execute a deed of conveyance of certain landa hereinaPter
described, conveying the same as above apecified to the Morco
Inaurance Agency, Inc., a corporation, on behalf of the said
City of Lynwood, and that the City Clerk of said City is herebq
authorized to attest said deed and to affix the City seal of the
ineorporated City of Lynwood thereto, on behalf of the said City
of Lynwood. "
Section 3. That the blayor and City Clerk of said City, on
behalf of said Gity, are hereby authorized to sign any escrow
a�reement neceesary to complete the tranefer of said lands.
Section 4. That the City Clerk oY said City is authorized
to deliver said deed to the �rantee thereinnamed, on behalf oY
the said City of Lynwood, ae soon as, or upon condition that the
eaid consideration ahall have been paid to said City,
Section 5.. The properties conveyed by this agreement are
described as follows; to wit:
Thoae certain parcels of land in the City of Lynwood,
County of Los Angelee, State of California, deecrib-
ed as follows:
Lot 12, Block 10, in �odJeska Park, as per Book 9,
Pages 142 and 143 of Maps, Records of eaid Los An-
gelea County.
The Sont�eest 60 feet of Lot 590, 1n Tract No. 2551,
ae per Book 24, Pages 78,_79 and 80 of Mape, Recorda
of said Los Angeles County,
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of April , 1941.
