• RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
, CITY OF LYN[NOOD WITHDRAWING CERTAIN
PERTY FRO� TAX SALES,AGREEMENT.,
I Be it resolved by the City Gouneil of the City of Lyn-
wood, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, by Agreement dated July 5, 1939 the City of Lyn-
wood agreed to purchase and the County of Los Angeles agreed
to,sell certain property hereinafter described under the pro-
visions oP the law relating to the sale of tax deeded landa; .
' and
WHEREAS, said City has, since the execution of said agree-
ment; acquired all interest oY the former ownera of said pro-
nerty by proper deed; and
1"lHEREA5, esid land has been acquired by said City for a
public purpose, to-wit, a public park, playground'arid recrea-
tional area; and
PtHEREAS, said City has the right to order the cancellation
oY all�taYes on said property so acquired; and
WHEREA5, it is, therefore, unnecessary that the City pur- .
chase a tax deed to said land;
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1299 said City has heretofore
requested said County to again enter into an agreement for the
sale by the County and purchase by the Gity of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, bhe City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California,'does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
Section 1. That the said City, does hereby withdraw ite
proposal to purchase the property hereinafter described Yrom
the County of Los Angelea as provided by that certain agree-
ment entered into by said City and said County, dated �July 5,
1939.

Section 2. That the proper County o£ficials be and they
are hereby ordered toe'li�ta� said property from any other or
further application heretofore made by said Gity for the pur-
chase by said City and sale by said County of saifl property.
� Section 3. The property herein referred to is particu-
larly described as followsc
� Those certain parcels of real property situate in
the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angelea, State
of California, described as follows:
� Parcel No. 1 . Partition of a portion oY
the Aome Tract of Antonio Maria Lugo and.
Maria German Lug>in Rancho San Antonio,
36.67 acres, that part in Lynwood Acquisi-
tion and Improvement District No. 18, Zone
V of Oscar To�er 40.06 acre allotment.
Parcel No. 2 . Partition of a portion of
the Home Tract of Antonio �Raria Lugo and ,
Maria German Lugo in Rancho San Antonioi
2.83 acrea, N,E. 126.07� of S.E. 151.�7�

Section 4. That the City Clerk/certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall file a certiPied copy thereof with
the Tax Sales Department of the Los Angeles Gounty Tax Collec-
tor's office. "
