f o r a d e c i s i o n . ' I t wa s s u g g e s t e d t h a t t h e r e b e a j o i n t m e e t i n g w i t h

o f th e month . ^

Reed , a t Mr . Reed's home o n Wood S t r e e t . I t wa s s u g g e s t e d t o b r i n g

I t was p o i n t e d out t h a t th e C o l l e g e Par k s i g n is not v i s i b l e .
A l s o i t was aske d i f wor d had bee n r e c e i v e d p e r t a i n i n g to the dam
i n W o o d v i l l e (whic h t h e r e has bee n acknowledgment). Joh n Nobl e
ha s gon e to the C o n s e r v a t i o n Camp and the b i l l has bee n p a i d in
f u l l . N e l s o n s t a t e d t h a t the dat e of the C o n s e r v a t i o n Camp v a r i e s
eac h y e a r . It was suggeste d to hav e more i n f o r m a t i o n a v a i l a b l e f or
a n a p p l i c a n t . A l s o of i n t e r e s t N e l s o n s t a t e d t h a t he has p o s t e d
12 t r e e s f o r remova l on Pon d S t r e e t and t h a t th e Saw M i l l is g o i n g
unde r B a r r y Smith's d i r e c t i o n .

I t was s t a t e d t h a t the dump on G r a n i t e S t r e e t owner s are
p r e s e n t l y p a i n t i n g the house , but haven't c l e a n e d up the a r e a much .
A l s o t h a t th e C o n s e r v a t i o n maps are v e r y p o p u l a r and are up to dat e
j to a y e a r . It was s u g g e s t e d t h a t maybe more s h o u l d be made. A l s o
N e l s o n s t a t e d t h a t th e b u r n i n g ban is e f f e c t i v e as of J u l y 1 ' s t .
Howeve r he can s t i l l bur n w i t h s p e c i a l d i s p e n s a t i o n the Dutc h Elm
Wood and t h a t the f a r m e r s can bur n w i t h p e r m i s s i o n fro m the S t a t e
House . B u t , he warne d t h a t t h e r e may be some s e r i o u s problem s if
th e S t a t e c l o s e s the H o p k i n t o n dump.
