HomeMy Public PortalAbout2013-31 Resolution Recognizing Deb Peterson for 5 Year of ServiceMember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2013-31 RECOGNIZING DEB PETERSON FOR FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF MEDINA WHEREAS, Deb Peterson has been a valued full time City of Medina employee serving as the Planning Assistant in the Planning and Zoning Department since April 7, 2008; and WHEREAS, Deb's experience, knowledge, and skills gained as both a professional planner and also working in building plan review and inspections are an asset for the City; and WHEREAS, Deb has successfully and independently administered the City's building permit process including site plan reviews, permit coordination, state reporting, and financial management; and WHEREAS, Deb has led the review of various land use applications through Planning Commission and City Council approval and has coordinated zoning enforcement actions of the City; and WHEREAS, Deb has implemented new initiatives including the manure management program service improvements including improved development fee tracking; and WHEREAS, Deb provides outstanding customer service for residents, business owners, contractors, and others who contact the Planning and Zoning Department; and WHEREAS, the City of Medina expresses sincere gratitude for Deb's dedication and continued service to the Medina community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina acknowledges and thanks Deb Peterson for five years of service to the community.
