FOR SANITARY SEWER UNDERGROUND UTILITY LOCATION SERVICES. WHEREAS, Consolidated Services, Inc. has become the apparent lowest and best bidder on the Sanitary Sewer Underground Utility Location Services project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The bid of Consolidated Services, Inc. is declared to be the lowest and best bid and Is hereby accepted. Section 2.The Mayorand City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement • with Consolidated Services, Inc.for Sanitary Sewer Underground Utility Location Services. Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same In form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of Its passage,and approval. Based on the original estimate for a one year period,costs have been pro-rated for the remaining months of the current fiscal year. Funds will be transferred into this account if needed. PAST PERFORMANCE: Great Plains Locating Services, Inc., has provided services satisfactorily under this agreement. The company has been acquired by Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. Of Omaha,Nebraska. Staff'feels they will continue the current level of service. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends award of the bid to Consolidated Utility Services, Inc„ of Omaha,Nebraska for a total estimated cost of$ 57,500.00.
