THEREIN.
Be it reaolved by, the Cit;� Council of the City of LynU�ood,
- Galifornia, as follows:.
, VJHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here— �
tofore, on the 29th day of October, 1940, a.ccepted the offer of
Y�arren P. Scott for the purchaee of a.11 of the right, t3tle and
interest of the City of Lynwood in and to certain lands lying
within said City; and
V�'Y.EREAS, the nroperties hereinafter described were includ—
ed in said purchase and sale a.greer�en�; and •
I��HEREAS, said "+'arren P. Scott has by a.ssigniaent duly exe—
cuted a.nd filed caith tY�e City Clerk of the City o� Lynv:�ood sold
and 2.ssigried to Sequoia lnvestment Corporation, a California
corporation, all rights arising from`said agreement pertaining
to tne properties hereinafter described; and
�'J�:EREAS, said Sequoia lnvestment Corporation, a California .
corporation, has exercised the option contained ln said agree—
ment and 'nas requested a conveyance to it oi the properties
hereinafter described under the terms of said agreement. `
NOlN, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of L.ynwood
does hereby resolve; determine and_ order as follows:
5ection l. That the City of Lyn�cooc� shalZ convey to the
�aid Sequoia lnvestment Corporation, a California corporation,
saicl properties hereinafter described, sub,ject to conditions,
restrictions, reserva.tions and•e2semente of record and sub,ject
to assessments and re2ssessr�ents and bonded liens of record.
That the Cit;� shalT convey to said �urcha.ser no other or greater

title to said lands than has been acouired by said City.
Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynwood. of the
sum oi Six Hundred Fifty Seven and 4/100 Dollars (�657.,04) the
h4ayor of the City of Lynwood is hereb,y authoriz�ed and directed
to execute a deed of conveyance oi certain lands hereinafter des-
cribed, conveying the same as above specified to the Sequoia ln-
� vestment Corporation, a California. corporation, on behalf of the
said City of L•ynwood, and that the City Clerk of said City ia
hereby authorized to attest said deed and to aifix the City seal
of the incorporated City of Lynwood thereto, on behalf of the
said City of Lynwood.
Section 3. That the li4ayor and City Clerk of said City, on
behalf oi said City, are hereby authorized to sign any escrow
agreement neeessary to com�lete the transfer of said lands.
Section 4. That the City Clerk oY said City is authorized
to deliver said deed to the grantee therein named, on behali of
the said City of Lynwood, as soon as, or upon condition that the
said consideration shall have been paid to said City.
Section 5. The properties conveyed by this a.greement axe
