AND AUTHORIZI\'G THE EXECUTION 0� A DEED
UPON PAYMENT OF THE CONSIDERA^1ION NP.�v?ED
THEREIN.
Be it resolved by the Cit� Council of the City of Lynvaood, �
California, as follow�:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here- I
tofore, on October 29, 1940, accepted of offer of Warren P. �
Scott for the purchase by him and sale by the City of certain
oro�erties in the City of LSrnwood a.cquired by sa.id City by pur-
chase from the County of Los Angeles. That tne properties here-
inafter described are a portion of the properties covered by said
agreenent of purchase and sale; end
3VHEREAS, said Nlarren P. Scott has requested the conveyance
to him of the properties hereinafter described un@er the terms
of said agreement. �
NO�rJ, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynvrood
does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:,
Section 1. That the said City of Lynwood ahall convey to
the said t"Jarren P. Scott said lands hereinafter described, sub-.
,�ect to conditions, re�trictions, reservations and easements of
record �nd sub;�ect to assessments and reassessr�ents and bonded
liens of record. That the sa.id City shall convey to said pur-
chaser no,other or greater title to said lands than has been
aco,uireH by said City,
Section 2. That upon payment to said City of the sum of
Tvio?Hundred Forty ihree and 80/100 Dollars (�243.80), the P:layor
of said GitS> is hereby authorized a.nd directed to ex.ecute a deed
of conveya.nce oi said lz.nds, conveying the sar�e as above speci-
fied to the said l��arren P. Scott, on behalf of the said City of �
Lynwood, and that the Gity Clerk oi said City is hereby authorized

to attest said deed and to affix the City seal of the incorporated
Citv oP L;�nvaood thereto, .on beha_lf of the said City of Lynvrood,
Section 3. The� said P.2ayor and City Qlerk are hereby auth-
orized to si�n on beh�lf of the said City of Lynwood any escrow
a�reement necessary to complete transfer of eaid lands.
Section 4. That the said City Clerk is a:uthorized to de-
liver said. deed to the said t�i�arren P. Scott, or into escrow ?or
�the said V�arren P. Scott, on behalf of the said Citf o� Lynwood,
as soon as, or upon condition that the said ccnsider�.tion shall
have bFen paid to said City.
Section 5. The lands covered by this resolution and author-
ized to be conveyed a.s hereinabove provided are described as
follou;s, to cuit:
