- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNw00D MAKING APPLICATION FOR
FUNDS TO PAY FOR CERTAIN WORK ON PUBI,IC
3TREETS IN TFIE CITY OF LYNtN00D: �` '
WHEREAS, certaln of the public streets of the City of Lyn-
r�ood are in need of having maintenance, repair anfl construction
work done thereon; and , ,
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has available Punde re-
ceiveci from the County's allocation of the gae tax funds Yrom
the State of California which may legally be used within the
corporate limlts of said citq for the repair; conatruction,
maintenance and improvement of public streets, bridges and cul—
verts within eaid city when the legislative body oP eaid city
has authorized such work to be done,.
N04J., THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the�City of'Lynwood�that the work construction, mainten—
ance, improvement or repair of public streete, bridgea or cul�
verts within said citq i�hereby authorized to be done on such
public streets, bridgea and culnerte within said city as shall
be designated by the City Engineer, and the funda to pay Por
the doing of said work shall be paid direct to the persone per—
Porming such work by the Gounty of Los Angeles upon the payroll
prepared and submitted to said County by said City Engineer,
which said report shall show the name of the person performing
such work, the time worked, the character oY the work performed,
and a report of the streets upon which euch work was performed.
f The City.Clerk shall certify to the adoption of thia
resolution.
