WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Lynwood,
did on the 14th day af Ju1y, 1941, file with the City
.Clerk as ordered by Hesolution No. 1324, of the City
Council of the City of Lynuvood, adopted Julg 1, 1941,
`, a report relatin� to the service necessary to main-
� tain and illuminate by me�ns of elec,tric energy the
suspended electric street lamps of 250 and 600 candle
power and the 250 candle power located.on,ornamental
standards in certain streets in the City o£ Lyn��ood,
said writteri report presenting the £olloiviiig:

the City o£ Lynti�ood that said report, unmodified, is hereby

approved and adopted as a whole as the report for all sub-
sequent proceedings had hereunder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with that
cortain act of the Legislature of the State of California
designated '�An Act to Provide £or the.n4aintenance by Munici-
palities of Lighting Systems alon� Public Streets, Alleys,
and other public places for the,Lighting thereof by electric
current, gas or other illuminating agent; and for the assess-
ment of costs and expense thereof upon the property benefited
and the manner of collection, said assessments commonly knotivn
as the "Street Lighting Act of 1919°, approved May 16th, 1919�
and amendments thereto, the City Council does hereby fix
Tuesday, the 19th day of August, 1941, at the hour of 8;00
o�clock P. NI. in the Council Chambers of said City Council
in the City Hall in the City of Lynwood, as the time and
place for hearing any and all protests in relation to said
proposed improvement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the
City of Lynwood is hereby directed to give notice of said
hearing in the tiMe, for� and nanner required tiy law, and
to publish notice of said hearin$ 'in the Lynwood Press, a
weekly newspaper publiahed and circulated in said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July , 1941.
