REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $25,000 THE 2000
BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE URBAN YOUTH CORPS
"URBAN GATEWAY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM" GRANT
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local
Government Services may approve the insertion of any special
item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such
item shall have been made ~vailable by law and the amount
thereof was net determined at the time ef the adoption of the
budget, and
WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any
item ef appropriation for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local
Government Services te approve the insertion ef an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 2000 in the sum ef $25,000
which item is now available as a revenue from the Urban Youth
Corps "Urban Gateway Enhancement Program" Grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $25,000 be and the
same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Urban Youth Corps "Urban Gateway Enhancement Program" Grant
Adopted this 19th day of October, 2000
and certified as a true copy of the
original om O~tober 20, 2000.
