WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 71.012.2 RSMo, 1994, the City Council of the City of Jefferson desires to annex the unincorporated area of land described in Section 1; and WHEREAS, the owners of the property have submitted a petition to have their property Included within the corporate boundaries of the City of Jefferson; and WHEREAS, the property is adjacent to the City and is located at the intersection of West Edgewood Drive and Missouri Stale Highway 179.and WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning the annexation was advertised on July 1, 2005 in the .
