A RESOLUTION OF TFIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CZTY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA REQUESTING AN APPROPRIATION
FROM THE BOARD OF 3UPERVISORS OF IAS ANaELEB
COUNTY TO HELP DEFRAY EXPENSES IN CONNECTION
WITH MAKIN(3 CERTAIN STREET IMPROVEMENT3 IN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD.
Be it resolved by the �ity �ouncil of the �ity of Lyn-
wood, as follows:
WHEREA3, the �ity of Lynwood, California is contemplsting
the improvement of aeveral etreeta as hereinafter mentioned for
tahich the City does not have money aufficient to do said work, and
WHEREAS, THERE ARE gasoline tax funds over which the
Honorable Board of Supervisore of Loe Angelea �ounty, �aliforni �

has control,� which is_availableYfor appropriation�to the �ity of �

alloted by the Honorable Board of Supervisore of Los"Angelea

NOW, THEtZEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that improvement of
StreeLs and Avenues be made by the �ity of Lynwood from monies
received from the �ounty oP Loe Arigeles on the following etreets
and avenues, to-wit:
1. The conatruction oP bituminou� macadam or pre-
mix roek and oil pavement on Bellinger treet, between
Los Flores Blvd, and Norton Avenue.
2, The construction of bituminous macadam or pre-
mix rock and oil pavement o� Alameda Street, between Zm-
perial Highway arxi Lynwood oad,
3. The construction of bituminous macadam or pre�-
mix rock and oil pav ment on Los Flores Blvd., between
9anta Fe Avenue and �ellinger �treet,
4, The conetruction oY bituminous macadam of pre-
mix rock and oil pavement on Burton Avenue, between Long
Beach �oulevard e.nd Alpine Avenue.
5. The conatruction of bituminous macadam or pre�
mix rock and oil pavement on Firat Avenue, between Fern-
wood �venue and Braster street.
6. The conetruction of bituminous macadam or pre�
mix rock and oil pavement on Peaeh street, between Euclid
Avenue and �arlin Avenue.
7. The construction of bituminous macadam o� pre-
mlx rock and oil pavement on Elmwood Avenue, between At-
lantic Boulevard and Locuet street,

Tha.t said Streeta ard Anenuea which are to be improved
are of general County interest,
' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the �ity �ouncil of the City
of Lynwood triat the fIonorab]e Board of suoervisore of the �ounty of
Los Angeles, within the state of �alifornia, are hereby requested
by the �ity of Lynwood, California, to.�prop�te�and-dietr.ubut�e

money is available, to the city of Lyn*aood for the purpoee oY
said Street and Avenue improvemente such as may be done under
section 1680 oP the streete aid �ighway Code of the state of Cal- �
lfornia, and under such other provisione of law as authorize euch
appropriation and diatribution for said purpoaes. -
BE IT FIJRTHER RESOLVED that the appropriation and dis-
tribution be made b;,r the Aonorable Board oP supervisore oP eaid
CounLy of Loa Angelea, State of �alifornia, ae promptly as circum-
atances will permit so tYiat eaid etreeta and avenue improvemat
work can be initiated and carried out with the least possible de-
lay in order to take care oY the present emergency for such improve-
ments.
BE IT F'URTHER RESOLVED that the �ity clerk of the �ity
of Lynwood ehall prepare a duly certified and authenticated copy
of thie R esolution and Yorthwith deliner the eame to the Honorable
. Board oP Supervisors of the �ounty oY Los �ngelee, an1 to the Hon-
