RESOLUTION SELLING CERTAIiv REAL �STATE
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A DEED
UPON PAYMENT OF THN. CON5IDERATIOid NAllIED
TN�REIN. �
Be it resolved by the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood,
California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Ctty Council of the City oP Lynwood hns here-
tofore, on the day oY �ctober, 1940, accepted the offer of
Warren P. Scott for the purchase of all of the right, title and
intereat of the City oP liynwood in and to certain lands lying
within said City; and � . '
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described was inclu ded
. in sai� purchase ar.d sale agreement; and
WHEREAS, said.uYarren P. Scott has by assigrunent duly ex.e-
cuted arzi fYled with the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood sol�
and assigned to Morco Insurance Agency, Inc., a corporation,
all rights arising from said a�reement pertaining to the pro-
perty hereinafter described; and
WHEP,�AS, said Morco Insurance Agency, Inc., a corporation,
has"exercised the option contained in said agreement arxl haa
repuested a.conveyance to it of the property hereina°ter des-
cribed under the terns.of said agreement.
NOY1, THEREFORE, the City Counci l of the City of Lyn� od
�doea herab3* resolve, determine arrl order as follows:
3ection l. That the City of Lynwood shall convey to the
said Morco Insurance Agency, Inc., a corporation, said proper-
ty hereir�f'ter described, subject to conditions, restrictions,
reservations and easementa ofl record and subject to assessments
and reassessments arxi bonded liens of record. That the City
shall convey to said purchaser no other or greater title to

seid lands than has been acquired by-said City.
Section 2. That upon payment to the Ctty of Lynvro od of the�
sum of Thirty-four,and 80/100 Dollars (�34.80) the Mayor of the
City of LynP:ood is hereby autYorized errl directed to execute a
deed of conveyance of-certain 1Qnd hereina�ter described, con-
veyir_g the saiae as above specified to the Morco Insurance Agency,
Inc., a corporation, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood, and
that the City Clerk of said City is hereby autnorized to attest
s�id deed and to affix the City seal of the incorporated City
of. Lynwood thereto, on behalf of the said City of Lymvood.
Section 3. TY�at the �ayor and City Clerk of said City, on
behalf of said City, are hereby authorized to sign any escrov�
agreement necessary to co�plote the transPer of said lands.
Section 4. That the CitS Clerk of said C�ty is authorized
to delicer said deed to the grantee therein named, on behalf oi
the said Cityof Lyr_wood, as soon as, or upon condition that the .

That certain parcel of land ir_ the Cit� oP Lynuvood,
County of Los Angeles, State oP California, describ-

as per Book 9, Pages 142-143 of h�aps, Recorda of Los
Angeles County.
