THEREINe
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn--
wood, Callfornia, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood hae
heretofore, on the 21s� day of O.tnber, 1941, accepted
the offer of Safeway Stores, Inc., of Nevada, a corporation
for the purchase of all of the right, title
and interest of the City of Lynr�ood in and to certain lands
lying within ea1 d Gity;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
Section 1, That the City of Lynwood sYiall convey to
the said Safeway Stores, Inc., of Nevada, a corporation
said property hereinafter described, sub,Ject to
conditions, restrictiona, reservations and easements of re-
cord and sub,Ject to assessments and reassessments and bonded
liens of recard. That the City ehall convey to said pur-
chaser no other or greater title to said lands than has
been acquired by said City,
Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynwood of
the sum of Four Thousand FSvenHundred and no/100 Dollars
(�4,500.00) the.IvIayor of the City of Lymvood is hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer-
tain land hereinafter descrl6ed, conveying the same as above
specifled to Ss-feway Stores, Inc., of Nevade, a corporation
' on behalf of the said City of Lynwood, and that
the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to attest
said deed and to affix the Cit;� seal of the incorporated City

of Lynwood thereto, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood.
Section 3. That the hiayor and City Clerk of said City,
� on behalf of said City, are rereby authorized to sign any
escrow agreement neces�ary to complete the transfer of said
landa.
Section 4� That tne Cit,y Clerlc of said City is author—
ized to dellver said deed *o the grantee therein named, on
behalf of the said City of Lynwood, ae soon as, or upon con—
dition that the said consideration shall have been paid to
said City.
Section 5. The property coveyed by this agreement is
described as follows, to wit:
Those certain parcels of land'in the City of
Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
deacribed as follows:
Lots 131 and 132, Tract No. 2551, as per map recorded
in Book 24, Pa.ges 7E,°79, and 80 of Maps, Recorda of
Los Angeles County.
