VIHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here-
� tofore�, by resolution, determined that the public interest,
convenience and necessity require the rePunding by the City of.
Lynwood of,the indebtedness of Acquisition and Improvement Dis-
� tricts I�os. T7, 18, 20, 22, 23 and 28, and TJlunicipal Inprovement �
District No. 1 of the City of Lyriv�ood, under one proceeding ,
�� known as a multiple district�refunding proceeding, in accordance �
with the proviaions of the Assessment Bond Refunding Act of 1933,
as amended; and_ `
WHEREAS, said Acquisition and Improvement Diatrict No. 17
overlaps Districts,No,s. 18, 23 and 28; said District No.�lB over-
1apa� Districts Nos. 17, 20; 22, 23, 28 and Lynwood iviunicipal Im-
provement District,No. 1; said District No: 20.overlapa Distrlct
No. T8; said,'District�No. 22 overlaps District'No. l8 and Nlunici- ,
pal Improvement District No: l; said District No. 28 oyerlaps
Districta Nos. 17, 18 and 23; and said Niunicipal Improvement Dis-
.. trict No. 1 overlaps said Districts Nos. 18 and. 22.

, ` WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has on iile in the office
'.. . of the Clerk of this City Council a certified copy of a resolu—
' tion adopted by the Board oP Supervisors of the said County of .
Loa Anoele,s on the tenth day of September, 1941, consenting to
the refunding of the indebtredness of said districts under one
�proceeding,,.and to the levying of.one assessment (sonetimes cal1-:'-
ed reassessment)therefor; and
V�TiEREAS, the City Council of the City of South Gate has on
file in the office of the Clerk of this C3ty Couricil a certified
copy of a resolution adopted by the City Council bf the City of
, South Ga.te on the 28th day of July, 1941 consanting to the re— •
funding of the indebtedness of said districts and to the levyin�
of one assessment (sometimes called reas�essment) therefor; and
WHERFA5, on the llth day of September, 19�1, the City Coun-
cil of the City oP Lyn�vood "adopted a resolution declaring its `'
intention to refund the indebtedness of said districts and to
', levy one assessment_(sometimes called,reassessment) therefor�
under the provlsion's of said Act; and
�"lHEREAB, the hearing upon ob,�ectione and protests 4J�3 duly
noticed a.nd held on the 21st da3 of October, 1941, and at said
time further hearing e�as, by order en.tered upon the minutes of �
the Council, duly a.nd regularly continued to this date; and
, PJHEREAS, one written protest has been filed and the same
has been overruled, and no oral protests or ob,jections were
Piled or made to the things proposed to_be done as set forth in .
�• said Resolution of Intention; and
' 4ti'HEREAS, a full, fair -and iinpartial hearing �va.s had and an ,
opportunity given to all persons present•to be heard.
NO��,, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Lynarood,.California, as Pollows:

Section 1. That the City Gouncil of the City of Lynwood,
California., hereby Pinds and determines that tne written con-
sents to the refunding, upon the terms stated in said. Resolution
of ?ntention, oi the ocrners of a majority in area of the land
sub�ect to a.ssessment (�ometimes ca.11ed reaseessment) included
within each of said districts proposed to be refurided, who are
likewise the owners of a�a�ority in area of the landa included
P;ithin the exterior boundaries of the total area rahich comprises
said districts to be refunded, have heretofore filed tivith the
Clerk of said City Couneil.
5ection 2. That said City Council hereby finds and deter-
mines that said consents representing such ma�ority as above
determined are in all respects valid, sufficient and genuine.
Section 3. That said City Council hereby further finds and
determines that notice v.�as given in accorda.nce with the provisions
of sald Assessment Bond Refunding Act of 1933, as anended, of the
adoption of said Resolution of Intention to refund and the time
and place fixed for hea.ring protests and ob�ections against the
proposed refunding, and that only one �ritten protest was filed
and that the sane has been overruled and that no ora.1 protests
or ob�ectione vaere filed or made.
Section 4.� That sa.id City Council further finds and deter-
mines tha.t the public interest, convenience and necessity re-
quire the refunding of the outstandin� indebtedness of said
districts as set forth in said Resolution of Intention, and the
' refunding of a.11 the outstanding indebtedness of said Acquisi-
tion and Improvement Districts Nos. 17, 18, 20, 22, 23 and 28,
and Pdunicipal Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Lynwood,
is hereby ordered, in accordance vritn tne terms set forth in
Resolution of Intention No. 1353, to refund said outstanding in-
debtedness, and adopted by the City Council o? the City of Lyn-
�ood on the llth day of September, 19a1.
Section 5. A. J. Bateman, City Engineer and Sugerintendent
of Streets of the City of

Lynwood is hereby ordered to make a diagram of the property upon
which an assessment (sonetimes ca,lled reassessment) is to be
levied, and to prepare his assessment (sometiaes celled reassese-
sent) for the purpose of refunding the outstanding indebtedness
of said Acquisition and Improvemerit Districts Aios. 17, 18, 20;
22, 23 and 28, and PuIunicipal Improvement District No. 1 oY the
City of Lynwood. The exterior boundaries upon which tne said
assessment (sonetimes called reassessment) is to be levied are
described in said Resolution of Intention�to refund and reference
is hereby made to sai@ resolution for all particulars. Said dia-
gram shall show each separate lot, piece or parcel of land with-
in the district upon which the assessment (sometimes called re-
as�essment) is to be levied, and the dimensions of each separate
lot, piece or parcel of land. Said diagran and assessment (some-
timea called reassessnent) ahall be prepared in accordance with
the provisione of the Assessment Bond Refunding Act of 1933,
(approved June 5, 1933, Statutes 1933, Page 1915) and all acts
supplementary thereto incorporated by reference therein and amend-
atory thereoP.
