is hereby incorpora.ted into and in its entirety aade a part �

numerous parcels of rea.l property which have tieen non-revenue
, producing for_many yeax'es and in all instances for six (6,)
years of.�more; and i^:hich are all tax deeded to the Sta.te for
delinquent taxes; and

'n�FIEREAS, each such deed to tne State. for taxes includes
taxes levied by the City of Lynvrood, the taxes of which are
collected by County officers, and
ZFIHEREAS, 'ir tne juclgment of the s2.id £oard of Supervisors,
- it vrould be im�racticaple for the State to selT its'in�erest .
in said properties vrithout the cooperation said City of
', Lynwood, and it wi11 be for tne oest interests of,the State
, and of �he's"�id County to transier.the title nodg held by the
State to the said City of T.�ynwood., in order that said real
properties ma.y be restored to the tax rolls of both the County
�nd City; and -
°1'rH�REAS, for the foregoin� re2.sons the City of Lynwood,
cle�ires a.n option to acquire tne title of tne State of Ca1if-
ornia in sa.id proPerties so that it may be in a position to
, convey a marketable,title thereto so that �aid_properties may
be restored to the tar ro11s; '

pert5r nereinafter set out in Exhibit '�A", attached hereto and made
a part hered8; which she_11 not have been redeemed as provided in
the Revenue and Taxation Code, for the sum set out after ea.ch of
said parcels of property and called °�urchn_se price'�, at any time
that the City of Lynw.=ood may de�nand, the noti.ce of this a�ree-
ment has been given and prior to t�uo (2) yeara from the ePfective
aate hereof. �
