AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH APLEX, INC. FOR
BELMONTIBOONVILLE,BAGNALL,AND ERHARDT SANITARY SEWER EXTENSIONS
AND BROOKS STREET SEWER AND STORMSEWER REPLACEMENT .
WHEREAS, Aplex, Inc. has become the apparent lowest and best bidder on the
Belmont/Boonville, Bagnall, and Erhardt Sanitary Sewer Extensions and
Brooks Street Sewer and Stormsewer Replacement project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The bid of Aplex, Inc. is declared to be the lowest and best bid and is
hereby accepted.
• Section 2.The Mayorand City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement
with Aplex, Inc.forBelmonVBoonville,Bagnall,and Erhardt Sanitary Sewer Extensions and
Brooks Street Sewer and Stormsewer Replacement.
Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same In form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of Its passage and approval.

Staff recommends the award of the bid to the lowest and responsible bidder meeting the
specifications, Aplex, Inc. Of Linn. MO in th amount of$160,165.00.
