Th e Hopkinto n Conservation - Commissio n meetin g was c a l l e d
t o orde r at 8:15> on Monday , Decembe r 1|, 1972, and despit e a
ba d snow-slee t storm , a l l members wer e present .
Th e WETLAND ZONING was discusse d and a repor t by Charle s
Zette k on a conversatio n w i t h a Raytheo n grou p was heard . It
wa s vote d to reques t a p p r o p r i a t i o n s Committe e to add $3000-0 0
t o our budge t f o r th e Wetland s Zonin g study . Mr. Z e t t e k ,
i n the meantime , has consulte d w i t h the P l a n n i n g Boar d at
t h e i r meetin g h e l d at Joe Pyne's in orde r tha t necessar y
a r i a l nr??: maps may be agree d upo n as to s c a l e . The P l a n n i n g
Boar d is to c o n t r a c t unde r t h e i r maste r pla n f o r the negatives .
Mr . Kaminski , Highwa y Superintendent , was unabl e to be
presen t due to the weather .
Th e issue s of the USE OP SAL T and the RECYCLIN G OP WATER
wer e discusse d w i t h no conclusion s bein g reached .
Th e p o s s i b i l i t y of u s i n g Jordan s P i t , s o - c a l l e d , f o r a
s a n i t a r y lan d f i l l s i t e was d i s c u s s e d .
Th e meetin g adjourne d at 10:00 p.m. No d e c i s i o n as to
a meetin g to be h e l d , p r e s p e c t i v e l y , on New Year s Day.
