Mayor William Man called the Special Meeting to order at 7 :03 a .m. in the City Hall
Community Room located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City .

Mayor Pro T em Fish made a motion to excuse
Councilmember Yu for cause . Councilmembe r Chavez
seconded the motion .

A. OVERVIEW OF LASD ADVANCED SURVEILLANCE AND PROTECTION (ASAP)
UNIT
Sergeant Gaw and Deputy Otis gave an overv iew of LASD Advanced Surveillance
And Protection (ASAP ) Unit.

A. QUALITY OF LIFE
Sergeant Miranda provided a brief overv iew of the number of sex offender
reg istrants , parolees, and probationers in the City.
B. OPERATIONS
Sergeant Miranda provided an update regarding arrests and operations in the
City.

Sergeant Miranda announced upcom i ng meetings and events that will be
conducted in the C ity.
Mayor Pro Tern Fish asked staff to fo l low up with public outreach rega rding
c oyotes.
Councilmember Sternquist requested a street banner above Las Tunas Drive
to inform res idents that there will be enforcement on July 4 for firewor ks .
