improved are of general county interest. •
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of L,ynwood that the Honorable Board of Supervisors of the County.
of Los Angeles, within the State of California, are hereby re-
quested b;� the City of Lynwood, Galifornia, to appropriate and
distribute �6,799.59 of gasoline tax fund_s or from any other
funds available, to the City.of Lyn��rood, California, for the
purpose of said street and avenue impravement such as may be
done under Section Io80 of tY?e Streets and Highway Code of the
State of Calif orni�,"and under such otner provisions of law as
authorize such app�riation and distribution for said purposes.
BE IT FURTHr."H RESOLVED that the appropriationand dis-
tribution be made by the Honor�ble Board of Super��'isors of,said
Coun�ty of Los Angeles and State of�California as promptly�as
circumstances �vill permit, so that said street and avenue im- .
I provements work c� be initiated and carried out with the least
! posaible delay, in order to take care of the present emergency
f
f of needed improvement upon said streets and avenues in said City.
� BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEU that the City Clerk of the City
oY Lynwood ahall prepare�a duly certified and•authenticated copy
of this Resolution�nd forthwith deliver same to the Honor-
able Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angelee, and to
the Honoraole Road Commissioner said County.
