A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY'
OF LYNIVOOD OVER—RULING PROTESTS, ORDERING
THE lti`ORK AND LEVYING TI-� PROPOSED ASSESSP•dENT
FOR SERVICE NECESSARY TO NIAINTAIN AND-ILLUNI—
IATATE THE 5USPENDED ELECTRIC STREET LAPdPS AND

Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Lynw�ood as follows:
WfiEREAS, the City Council of the.City of Lynwood,, ,
California, did on the 5th day of July, 1939, adopt a
Resolution No. 1189 fixing the timeand place for a hear—
ing in the matter of Lighting Maintenance No. 12 of the
City of LymR�ood, and
WHEREAS, ttivo protests ___ or
ob�ection w ere filed with the City Clerk � `
ob,�ecting to the proposed improvement, the extent of the
assessment district and the assessment therefor, and .
WHEREAS, all interested pereons were given full
opportunity,to.present tYieir protests or obJec
4'JHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the
publication and posting of notice.of sa:id hearing in the
time, form and manner.requir_ed by, law,.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Said City Council after due
consid.eration, oY all auch ob,�ections and protests, does
nereby over—rule and deny such protests and ob�ections
and each oP them, to the vaork or improvement to be done
within said Li�hting IvYaintenance District as Described in
Resolution No. 1180 of said City and to the proposed

� assessment,therefor; and does hereby conPirm and adopt as ,
, a whole�, unmodified,`the assessment•and report as described

• hereby or.der the said contemplated improvement to be made
in accorda.nce with the plans and apecificiations the'refor,

f- adopted and_,approved; and the City Council does-hereby levy
�the said�pr000sed assesament made to �cover the.costs�and %, °
_ expenses,.of said improvement ,upori� the,: r'espective.subdivision

� BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of`the
City of Lynvaood is' hereby ordered.to transmit to. the �County
Tax Collector of the County of Los Angeles, the diagran a nd . �
. assessment upon �7hich such levy is based`and.said County Tax ,
Collector is hereby authorized and directed to make collections ,
� of all such assessments, and�to perform a1T the acts•and .
