. CPLIFORNIA, CONFIRMING REPORT OF THE
� STREET SUPERINTENDENT IN COPdiVECTION
F?+ITH THE ABP.TETvIENT Or DRY ATdD DRYING
Fi�EEDS FOR rISCAL YEAR 1939-40 UNDER . �
ACT 5197 OF THE GENERAL LAW5 OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS AMED?DED.
1"lHEt��AS, the City Council of the City o_° Lym�rood,
California, did on the 18th day of April, 1939, adopt'a'
Resolution No. 1172 relating to the abatement of dry and drying .
�;eeds on certain lots of.la.nd in the City of Lyntivood under
Act 5197 of the Legislature of`the State of California as a.mended,
�rrnich said Resolution fixed P.fa_y 2nd, 1939 �vhen any and all inter-
.-ested persons might oeject to said improvement, and ,
4°IHEREAS, said hearing vaas had and held in accord=
' ance with lav� and the Street Superintendent was instructed to
proceed to abate the nuisa.nces, and
WIHEREAS, the Street Superintendent has filed with
the City Council of the City of Lyn�:ood an itemized re�ort in �
writing shov�ing the cost of removing such:��reeds on each separate
lot and had caused a copy thereof to be posted on the bulletin
board in the City Hall near the chamber door of the legislative
body, and '
WHEREAS, it appea.rs that notices r:ere posted according
to lava and that the proceedings �rere had �nd done in conformance
� v:ith the General Laws of the State of California, a.nd
�^1HEREAS, hearing has been duly held upon said report
and no ob�ections ha.ve been filed by any of the property owners
owning the property described in the report of said Street Super-
intendent of the Gity of Lynvrood,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council ,
of �the City of Lync�ood that the said report of the Street.SuAer-
intendent of the City of Lyntivood be and same is hereby confirmed

and that the anounts of the cost for abating.such nuisances�upon
' the _various 'pa.rcels of la_nd.as sho�^rn in said report shall and .
� the s�:me clo hereby constitutE special aesessments against the, �,

., said property for the.zmount of`same,
BE IT FUt�THER"RESOLVED, that_the,City.�Clerk of the '
City of Lynt��ood be a:nd.he is hereby-instructed to turn over to the
• Tax Collector of the County of Los 'An�eles .a copy of ,the report
of .the Htreet:Superintendent and said Tax Collector is hereby
instructed to zdd the amounts of the reepective assessments �
the regul�_r bills for taxes covering fiscaT �ar 1939-40
as proqided by Section 7 of said Act 5197.
