RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF �
LYN'NOOD, QALIFORNIA, PA3SIIQG UPON OBJECTIONS,,
AND DIRECTING THE STREET 3UPERINTENDENT T0 6-
�ATE THE WEED NUISAN � THAT EXISTS ON VACANT
LOTS IN THE CITY OF.LYNWOOD.

Be it resolved b�j the City Council of the City of
, Lynwood, ae follows:
WHEREAB, the City Council oP the City oP Lynwood,
California, on the 17th day of Apr11, 1940, adopted Resolu-
tion No. 1229 Relating to the Abatement of Dry and Drying
Weeds on certain Lots in the City of Lynwood, and '
PiHEREA5, due Notice was given to destroy such weeda
by posting "Notice to Destroy Weeds" at not more than 100
feet in distance apart as required by law, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hear-
' irtg: oP protests and ob�ections to said inatter, a hearing wae
_ duly held and no written or oral ob�ections �vere made to the _
doing of said work, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
. has considered all of the facts and ie fully inPormed inthe •
matters and ha.ve acquired �uriadiction to proceed and perform
the work of removal eaid nuisance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE80LUED, that the Street
Superintendent oP the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby
instructed to abate the nuisances described in said Resolu-
tion No. 1229 by having the weeds.referred to removed, and
he and hia aasistants are hereby expreasly authorized to en-
ter upon private property for that purpoae.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property ownera
shall have the right to have any such weeds removed and '
abated �t his ov�n expense providing eame is done nrior
to the arrival of the Street Superintendent or his Asais-
tants with equipment.with which to have the nuisancea a-
bated. �
