$2,000.00 Moab, Utah, August 10, 1949.
On or before December 31, 1949, the City of Moab, in
Grand county, Utah, for value received, promises to pay to The
First National Bank of Moab, or order, the sum of Two thousand
Dollars ($2,000.00) at The First National Bank of Moab, in Moab,
Utah, with interest at the rate of four per cent ('4%) per annum
from date hereof until paid.
Said City further agrees to pay a reasonable nttorney's
fee in case suit shall be brought on this note, said feei_to be
taxed as a part of the costs in the case.
This note is issued by the City Council of Moab, Utah,
in conformity to a resolution passed and adopted by said Council
on the 4th day of January, 1949, and under authority conferred
upon said Council by the provisions of Section 15-8-6, Utah Code
Annotated, -1943.
