ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS FOR VARIOUS
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE 2008
CALENDARYEAR
WHEREAS, in December 2007, the Borough issued a Request for Proposals
("RFP "), soliciting responses for the provision of various professional services
for the 2008 Calendar Year; and
WHEREAS, the RFP's were solicited pursuant to a fair and open process in
accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A 19:44A -20.5; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Clerk's Office has on file the submitted responses
to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has reviewed the response submitted and is desirous
of accepCnng and/or approving the responses to the RIP from the attached Est
of professional service entities for the respective professional services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That these professional service entities on the attached Est are hereby
approved to provide the respective professional services.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.LS.A 40a:11 -5(1) (a).
3. That this award is pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance
with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A -20.5.

and certified as a true copy of the original
