DEDICATION BY RIDER
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40A:4-39 provides that a
Municipality may dedicate certain revenues in any
budget when the character of the revenue is not subject
to reasonable accurate estimate in advance by including
in said budqet a statement dedicating such revenues to
the purpose-or purposes for which they are received;
and
WHEREAS, the Borough will receive contributions
from certain developers and these funds are to be used
solely toward the cost incurred by the Borough to
provide offsite improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of
the Borough of Carteret that developer contributions
for offsite improvements are hereby dedicated and shall
be made available for expenditures for the purposes
stated above as when received in cash during the year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two(2) certified copies of
this resolution be filed with the Director of the
Division of Local Government Services.
Adopted this 19th day of October
2000 and certified as a true
copy or the original on
October 20, 2000.
