A RFSOLUTIOY OF THE CITY COUNCIL �F THE
CITY OF LYNR'OOD, CALIFORVIA, CO^�SE'iVTING .
TO TRANSFER AND ASSIGN?4ENT OF FREINCHISE
WHEREAS, those portion3 of that certain £ranchise, originally granted
by the County oP Los Angeles by Ordinance Vo. 781� approved October 23� 192z�
whicli are now �vithin the corporate limits of the City of Lynwood� granted pipe
line fYanchise to General Pipe Line Company of California; and
YPfiE',REAS, Said General Pipe Line Company of Cali£ornia� has made
application for the right to as&ign to General Petroleum Corporation of
California� those portions of that certain franchise, originallp granted by
the County of Los Angeles by Ordinance No 781, approved October 23� 1922�
which are nox within the corporate limits of the City of Lynvrood� California.
NO%, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED� that the application of General Pipe
Line Company o£ California� to assign �to Generrsl Petroleum Corporation of
California� all its fr�nchise righte existino under and by vistue of those
portions of that certain �anchise� originally granted by the CoUnty of Los
Angeles by Ordinarice No. 781� approved October 23� 192z� which are now vrithin
the corpo,rate limita of the City o£ Lynwood� be and the same is hereby granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Assignment of those portions of that certain .
franchise� originally granted by the County of Los Angeles bq Ordinance No. 781,
anproved October 23,'1922, which are now within the corporate limits of the City
of Lynwood� sha11 be completed in stxiot aceordance with said Los Angelea
County Ordinance No. 7g1, and on or before the lst day of November, 1936
