President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted: ROLL CALL Board members present were: Vicki Robinson and Tony Foster. Absent was Dick Foore. Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen City Clerk; Police Lt. Donnie Benedict; Grant Administrator Sharon Palmer; Street Commissioner Tracy Bosell; City Engineer Greg Steins; Park Superintendent Bill Thistlethwaite; and, Media. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Foster moved to approve the minutes of August 6, 2015, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT Mr. Foster moved to approve the August 14, 2015 Claims for Payment in the amount of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Eight Hundred Seven Dollars and twenty six cents ($370,807.26), supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. If this happens, the remainder will be paid from the Economic Development Income Tax which has already been budgeted for 2015.
