PlHEREAS, the City Council of the City of.South .
Gate, California, has heretofore adopted its resolu.tion
No. 72 8 , determining that the public interest, con-
venience and necessity require the refunding of the indobted-
ness of Aco,uisition and Improvement District No. 1 of the
City of South Gate, and stzting that said City Council pro-
poses to conduct a proceeding for the refunding,of the �
indebtedness of said District under the provisions of the .
Assessment Bond Refu.nding Act of 1933, as amended, and re-

questing the consent of +he Board of Supervisors of £he
County of Los An�eles, and of' the City Council of the City
of Huntington Park,.and o£ the City Counci.'l of' the City of
Lynwood., to,the refundir.g of said indebtedness under said
Pct and to the levyin� of a reassessment therefor under
� said Act; and ,

No.. 7 has been filed with this City Council, and
attached to said certified copy is a certified copy of a
f orm of resolution of intention in the:same matter filed_ _.
with the Clerk of tne City of South Gate December 6, 1937;
and
�lJHEHEAS, the assessment district which comprises -

Acqui�ition and Improvement District No. 1 0£ the City
of South�Gate lies partially in the City.of South Gate,
par+iall� in th.e City of Lynwood, partially in the City
cf IIuntir_�ton Park, and partially.in unincorporated terri-
tory of the Courity oi Los Angeles, and the�Board of Super-
visors of Los Angeles Count'y levies the special tax for
the payment of principal and interest of th.e bonds of said
District•vohich are proposed to be refunded; and

and necessity requi.re the refunding of the indebtedness of
� Acquisition'and Improvement D3strict No. 1 of the City of
South Gate under the provisions o,f the Assessment Bond Re-
funding Act oP 1933, as zmended.
SECTION 2. That the City Council �of the City of
South Gate is a proper body to conduct said proceedings '
� and this CitS Council hereby consents to,the refund.ing of
the indebtedness of said District under £he aforesaid Act
an d the levying of a reassessment therefor under said Act
and consents to the City Council of the City of South Gate
