CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2014-28
RESOLUTION REVISING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
WHEREAS, the city of Medina (the "City") is a municipal corporation, organized and
existing under the laws of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina (the "Council") has designated
certain streets within the City as Municipal State Aid ("MSA") Streets under the provisions of
Minnesota law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to MSA standards, the Council has determined that it is
appropriate to revoke some segments and to designate other segements as MSA Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA, that the MSA designation of the roadways described
below is revoked, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of
Minnesota:

Hamel Road (CSAH 115) to Pioneer Trail
Chippewa Road
Medina Street (CR 19) to Pioneer Trail
Future Road
Medina Street (CR 19) to Pioneer Trail
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the roadways described below are established and
designated as Municipal State Aid Streets of the City of Medina, subject to the approval of the
Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator -Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation
for consideration, and that upon the Commissioner's approval of the designation of each street or
portion thereof, each shall be constructed, improved, and maintained as a Municipal State Aid
Street of the City of Medina.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
