BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 306, Page 939, and Book 309, Page 201, of the Records of the Cole County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, Install, construct, maintain and repair structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots, tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1; Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose: Part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 45 North, Range 12 West, Cole County, Missouri, lying 5 feet each side of and adjacent to the following described centerline: From the southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 31; thence N860 01'52"E, along the Quarter Section • Line, 254.39 feet to the centerline of an existing 10-foot easement as described In Book 306, Page 939 and Book 309, Page 201, Cole County Recorder's Office;thence NO2 020'28"E,along the centerline of said easements, 173.07 feet to Station 5+15,42, Line "A" of Private Sewer#447 and the point of beginning for this description; thence N020 20'28"E, along the centerline of said easements, 136.77 feet to Station 3+78.65 of said Line "A" and the point of termination. Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon whatever Interest it has in the easement. Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's Interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage,and approval..
