FIs�lEREAS, the hearir.g of objections and protests to the pro-
posed improvement and to the assessment thsrefor, contem�lated,
described and set forth in Resolution of Intention No JSJ of the
City Council of the City of I,ynwood, herstofore adopted on the
20th day of SUovemUer, 1328, havin� beon had as required by law in
accordance.witn the provisions of Resolution I�o. 599, passed by
the City Council of the City o3 I,yr_wood on the lIIth day of Doc-
ember, 1928; and
UlHERr^�S, esrtain protests and objections ivsre filed with the
City Clerk objection to the proposed improvement, the extent of the
assessment district and the assessment above rsferred to;
AidD "v'1HFRE1IS, the Cit� Council of tre City of Z�rnv✓ood by Reso-
lution I�'o. 599 did appoint a time and place for the l�earing of all
protests in rolation to the proposed irnprovemsnt as repuired by
1aw; and �
�7IiERE.AS, a11 interested persons v�ere given Yu11 opportunity,
at such time and place, to apuear before said City Cour_cil and
present their protests and objsetion, and the City Council kiaving
heard and considered all such protests and objections; '
F?0'r'! THEREFOR�, the said. City Council, after du� consideration
of a11 such protests and objections, doos hereby over-rule a.nd deny
such protests and objections, and each of them, to the work of im-
provement to bs done within the lighting district oi' the City of
I,yn�vood, as described in Resolution No. 585 of said City and to the
proposed assessment therefor; and does hsreby confirm the said uro-
posed assessment, for said proposed improvement, and the report of
the ��nginoer, hereinbsfore re£erred to, is hereby adopted as a
whole and without amendment; and
BE IT RFSOLVED FURTHER, that tne City Council does hereby
order the said conter.iplated improveme�t to be made in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor adopted and approved;
and the said City Council does nereby levg the said proposed
assessment made to cover the costs and expenses of' said improve-
ment upon the resuective subdivisions of land in the assessment
district described in said Resolution DTo. 5£35 and as fixed by the
proposed report and assessment heretofore filed in the office of
tne City Clerk, and
RESOI,VED F'IJRT��ER, that the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
is hereby ordered to transmit to the marshal and ex-officio T2.x
Collector of the City of Zynwood, the diagram and assessment upon
vahich euch levy is based, and such Tax Collector is hereby author-

ized and directed to make collections oi''all suen assessments, and
to perform aIl the acts and duties as are required of and to be per-
forned by ths psrson designated as "lax Collector" in Sections 8, 9,
10, 11, 12 and 13 0l an Act of the Lsgislature oi the State of' Cali-
fornia entitled "An Act to rorovide for acquisition, installation,
construetion, reconstruction, extension repair and maintsnance by
municiroalities of vrater works, electric povaer, ivorks, gas works,
1i�hting works and other oublic vaorks and utilities", etc., approved
June 6th, 1913, 1913 Statutes, Page 421, and amendrne�its thereto.
