!`lH�R�:f1S, the City Council of the City of Lymwood did on the 20th
day of IQovember, 1928, pass Resolution of Intention IJo. 585 declaring
its intention to form a Lighting District in and for the City of
yynwood and to raise money ior �he mair_tenance oi certain lamps in
said 3�istrict, and the eletrie current to be furnished for a period
of two yoars for the lightin�; on the str�ets in the City of Lyn�vood,
and
l�;HE��0.S, the Engineer for sa�id City did on the 18th day of
Deeember, 1928, file with the �ity Clork of the City of Lynvaood, as
directed in said Resolution of Intention No. 585, a report covering
said improvement,
I;Ot�' THEREFORE, BF IT RESGI,`TE� that the public intsrest ai7d con-
venience require said Vrork, and the City Council of the City of I,yn-
wood hereby orders the City Clerk to post a notice oY said work,
rs�erring to the plans and specifications on file thsrefor, con-
s�oicuously for five (5) daps on or r.sar the Council Chamber door, in-
viting ssaled proposals, or bids for furnishing the necessary main-
tenance and electric energy to properly illimunate the street lamps
shown on plan D?o. 543, on fils in the ofiice o� the City C1erk of
said City for a psriod of tvao years. He is also directed to publish
tvaice a notice invitin, such proposals, referring to the plans ar�d
sroecifieations on file, in the �yiiwood Tribune, a �veekly nevaspaper
pnblished a�id circulatsd in said Citjr of iJnwood, an3 hereby flESi�-
nated for that purpose,
AI�TL RESOyVED E'URTHER, that the successful bidder be requirsd to
secure the contract awarded him by a bond in the �enal sum of rive
Hundred and no�100 Lollars ($�500.00), v✓ith suretie� satisfactory te
the City Council of eaid City.
