VISORS OF LOS ANGEL�S COUNTY AND THE CITY �
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'SOUTHGATE, CALIFORNIA.
The City Council of the City of Lyn�vood, do�resolve as

Section 1. 4V'rTEREAS the Specifications in the above entitled
matter having been examined and evidence having been received
concerning benefits,•apport9.on.ments and the extent of the
assessment district therefor, Br TT '?rT�;°rr?ID?ED that the
Specifi.cations this day £iled,in the above entitled matter by.

Section 2. _THAT I^1 BE AND IT IS HEREBY DETF�'viINED that in
the jud�ment of this City CounciI the proposed acquisi.tions in
so far as they lie vrithin the City of Southgate and the. unincor-
porated territory in the County of Los,rAngeles; are nece�sary and
proper to complete, connect with•and render of greater use to the
public the public ways lying within the City of Lynwood.'
BE IT FURTHER DET�tP�IINED that the proposed •improvements so�
far as they lie within tHe Cit,y'of Southgate and the unincor-
porated territory in the County of Los'Angeles, are necessary and
proper to complete, connect with and render of greater_,use to the
public the existin� improvements on the public ways within the
City of Lynwood, and particularly.the improvements w9.thin the
City of Lynwood proposed to be�made hereunder. `
BE IT'FURTH�? RESOLVED that in the opinion of this City
Council all property within the assessment district as-delineated
on the,map attached to said specifications and described therein
wi1T be bene£itted by the proposed acquisitions and improvements.
Section 3. BE IT �'URTHER RE50LVED that the consent of the
Board of Supervisors of Los Ange].es County and the City Council
of the City of Southgate, Cali.for.nia, is hereby.requested to the
doing of the.sa�d work and to the acquisitions therein provided
for and to the assessmer_t of proroerty within the assessment
district, all as is di.sclosed in the said specifications.
Sectiori 4: BE'IT FURTHE� S.ESOLVED that'the`Cit,y Clerk o£ '
the City of Lynvrood, shall transmit to the Board of �upervisors
of Los Angeles County and to tr.e City �ouncil of the City of
Southgate, attested copies of this Resolution, together v�ith a
certified copy o£ the said specifications in the matter of
