CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2014-41
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT.
PROJECT ON TOWER DRIVE, KILKENNY LANE AND HAMEL ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2014-32 adopted on May 20, 2014, the city
council called for a public hearing on the street and utility improvement project on Tower Drive,
Kilkenny Lane and Hamel Road; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given and the hearing was held on June 17, 2014, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard
were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The above -described improvement is necessary, cost effective and feasible as
detailed in the feasibility report adopted by the city council on September 17, 2013;
and
2. The improvement is hereby ordered as detailed in the feasibility report; and
3. WSB is hereby designated as consulting engineer for the improvement and is
authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications for such improvement;
and
4. The city council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the
improvement from the proceeds of tax exempt bonds; and
5. Pursuant to Minn. Stat., section 462.356, subd. 2, the city council finds that the
improvement has no relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Martin and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Anderson, Martin, Martinson, Pederson, Weir
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
